It is our last day. We boarded the American Rover ship and took a 1.5 hour cruise on the historic Hampton Roads harbor in Norfolk, VA.
Joe is standing in the middle of the sail boat, manning his droid!
It was a beautiful day. Wind was great for sailing. It was very quiet and peaceful as we glided along.
Erik is calling Joe a nerd! Joe’s attached to his droid!
Erik’s taunting doesn’t phase him.
Oh, mom wants to take a picture? Droid can be on hold for a second!
Erik poses nicely for the camera too.
Crew member snaps our picture. Battleship in the background.
Our first morning stop was actually to the Chrysler Museum of Art. It is a free museum and very impressive.
Paul and Erik were intrigued with his chess set. It is made from glass, and featured two sets of pieces, the Catholics and the Jews. The Jewish figures were the most clever looking. Joe is most focused on you know what!
In the interactive portion of the museum, we found some fun pieces to play around with. This is a picture of Erik, with Joe standing in the background.
We all posed at Mirror No. 10. Bethany is on the far right with the camera in hand. Erik is on the left, pointing to Dad, with Joe probably looking at you know what!
Erik has turned Joe into the bunny! Dad in on the right. This piece of art is called a Snow Mirror.
On our way home. I think the polarizing lens gave me the cool colors in the picture!
Look at the interesting Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel down in the harbor.
In the Minneapolis Airport there was a piano asking to be played. Erik played his favorite random songs!
Another great vacation added to our growing list of Husby Vacations!
Death Valley next! Stay tuned……
